Launch Subscription Based Wi-Fi in Major U.S. Airports
Develop the product requirements for rolling out subscription Wi-Fi services to major U.S. Airports. This was an entirely new service offering for AT&T Wireless (prior to its merger with Cingular Wireless) and one outside of its cellular core competency. The development of the product required creation of a pricing model based on user acceptance, a custom online experience for browse, purchase and support, a customer care model unique to Wi-Fi, a billing model that integrated with voice and data IT systems, and implementation of a technology infrastructure that required tactful integration into airport operations. Bridge Mobility consultants supported the entire product lifecycle from product initiation, launch, and operations to final decommission as market demands changed. This lifecycle spanned several years and Bridge Mobility partnered with AT&T Wireless in all phases of the Wi-Fi product.
